Maxwell Owin brings his label Raising Deep to the Fox and Firkin once again with the 2nd Raising Deep Gathering.

Heading the line-up is the seminal Yaw Evans who will be joining us for a DJ set after his fantastic release last year of Millennium Groove on the iconic label GD4YA. He’s not one to miss!

Also joining us on the night is Phoebs who will be gracing the mic taking us on a journey through her own solo set of original music and dubs that she’s crafted. Having caught her recent show supporting Wiki and Jadasea, its full of heartfelt bars and dynamic musical moments and it will be a pleasure to have her in the house.

Also taking to the mic duties we are so excited to have the wordsmith that is Brother Portrait grace the stage.  He’s a one-of-a-kind rapper and being one of the most versatile and accomplished wordsmiths in the city, it’s a pleasure to have him involved. Maxwell Owin and Brother Portrait will be performing segments of their collaborative output featuring all new dubs and unreleased material for your head top!

Last but not least, we have the unique style and legendary productions of Joseph Efi gracing the place. He will be performing a live electronic set. Joseph is a unique voice in the city and for those unfamiliar with his music, check out his recent self-released track - Walker - a sublime sonic glitch scape that we have been bumping here at Raising deep HQ on Repeat.

Raising Deep resident Maxwell Owin will also be providing his DJ skills at the beginning and end of the night to round off the experience. Big ups to all who danced with him last time until 4 in the morning, it was one for the books and Maxwell has got a bunch of new tracks and sounds to scatter across the dance floor!
